Added Services
The Added Services offered by Sparklewhore are all of the things we can do to help a client succeed, in addition to a custom design. Running a successful site is more than a solid stream of images and posts. We’re here to help with some of that workload, by teaching you how to do it, or simply managing things for you.
SEO Training
We’ll teach you how to manage your blog posts and site design to get the most out of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). During these sessions, you’ll start with a Q&A that will center around your questions and dispel common SEO myths. From there, we’ll take you through your content and suggest things to improve your overall engine placement.
SEO Training is $75 per session. Minimum two (2) sessions.
Managed SEO
Managed SEO means that once a week we will look at your newest posts and make changes (with approval) to the content, keywords, or links and streamline them for better indexing by Google, Bing, and Yahoo. This process can take time, and we limit the number of clients it is available to on a first come / first served basis.
Normally, we will only offer this service after the end of the first SEO Training session. This is so you can see what it takes for SEO management, and if you are willing to go it alone, you won’t be wasting your money. If selected, the fee for training is credited towards the first month of Managed SEO service.
Managed SEO is $150 per month. The current cap is five (5) clients.
WordPress Training
WordPress can be a great choice to run your blog or blog based site, however, not everyone knows WordPress inside and out. We’ll help you here.
Basic WordPress training includes the basics of posting, linking, editing, and adding images to your posts. From there, we can move into other – more advanced – topics, covering the things you want to know about in-depth.
WordPress Training uses a show-tell / tell-show method. We’ll teach you, then you do it and teach us. Over time, this method is a proven method for clients, but if it doesn’t work for you, we keep at it until you have mastered the skills.
WordPress Training is $75 per session.
Site Management Training
Many sites run with a control panel, such as cPanel or Plesk. We’ll teach you how to navigate that control panel and manage your site like a pro. From adding an email address, or uploading files with FTP, we’ll teach you to how to master administrative operations with ease.
Site Management Training is $75 per session. No minimum.
Server Management
Sometimes, running a server on your own takes away time from calls and managing your characters properly. In those cases, we can take care of the little things for you, from uploading new images and movies, adding new character profiles, creating new email accounts and more.
To order, contact us for a quote, as we place limits on the number of clients enrolled to this service. On average, please note that this services starts at $100 a month for most customers, but the number of management services needed can increase the fee.
Technology Consulting
The Technology Consulting can cover added training, for things not SEO related, as well as scripting. There is a lot to be covered here, but some of the options available include custom contact forms, security services (server security and site security as well as image protection), pay-per-view scripting, and more.
Simply contact us to talk about the details. Costs will range per contract and flexible payments are available.
Please Note:
Training sessions can be purchased in blocks. There is no limit to the number of sessions that can be paid for in advance, but scheduling restrictions do apply.
All training must be scheduled with at least 48-hours notice. Weekend training sessions are on a case-by-case basis. Training sessions will last one hour at the minimum, but two hours should be blocked off to deal with any extra questions or potential problems. In the event conflict arises, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule training at the next available slot.
Training credits not used will be applied to other services or future services. There are no refunds for training deposits. If you schedule your training, and fail to appear, training credits and time blocks will be forfeit. In the event the training time you request causes conflict with prior commitments on behalf of Sparklewhore, you will be given notice and offered the first available time slot.
Technology Consulting is on a first come / first served basis and will depend on prior contracts. At the start of the consulting project, you will be given a time frame as to when to expect updates and final results. A 50% deposit is due before work can begin on most consulting contracts. The rest of the payment is to be made before the final result is delivered. In the event that the consulting contract is non-tangible, the entire contract fee is due before start of work.
