Terms and Conditions of service
Below are the outlined Terms of Service. By agreeing below you state that you understand the Terms of Sevice outlined and agree to them.
Premade items such as template, buttons, and more:
Premade items require full payment before transfer and/or customization. Premade items come as-is unless a specific customization is stated. If a stated customization has been performed (such as the adding of your name), then the item is then considered “as-is”. Premade items (including customized) do not come with installation support or services. It is understood that when you purchase a premade item that you are in fact purchasing the graphics and/or html code as it is stated and that after purchase that item is yours to use and set up. In most cases a “Help” page or form will be included to assist you with the basics of using your item. If you require assistance beyond that then you may contact me. When you contact me please know that it is at my discretion as to wether I have the time and ability to assist you at that time or if I shall require and additonal support fee.
Custom made items:
Custom items require a 50% deposit before work will begin. “Work” includes not only the physical act of creation, but that of detailed discussion as well. Emails outlining what you are looking for and if I am able to provide what you are looking for are of course acceptible. I do not take on projects unless I have a fair idea of what you are seeking. However once we have established your needs and you have received a quote for services, deposit is required before proceeding further. Once a custom item is complete and the remaining balance is due after “preview” and before items are received.
Client Responsabilities: It is expected that when you contact me for any custom work that you are prepared. This means that you have already purchased and are in posession of any content that will be used, as well as clear on the character that the design is for. I cannot help you pick out your content nor assist you in creating your character. If you contact me, it is assumed you are ready to proceed and will be given a date. If you are not prepared to proceed at that time you will risk losing your spot to someone who is prepared and your project will be delayed.
Designer Responsabilities: I will give you a quote and a timeline as accurately as possible. Occasionally there may be delays, and you will be notified of them ahead of time, and possibly discounted depending on the circumstances. Under no circumstances will you be charged more for a product that is complete. This means that should your needs change and you add services, or the services you requested be more advanced than quoted, you will be notified of any possible additional charges before I proceed with that work.
Client Communication: Communication is by email only unless I feel that either messenger or phone are necessary. Please keep in mind that I am a PSO myself and have a family. I will attempt to respond to emails on projects within 24 hours (in most cases sooner).
Reasons for Client/Designer relationship terminiation: I reserve the right to terminate any agreement with a client under any of the following circumstances:
- Any breach of the agreed upon terms may result in termination with no deposit refund.
- If I feel as though there is a personality conflict and I will not be able to do my best by the client. Refund only if work has not yet begun.
- If a personal or health issue arrises that prevents me from completing the project. The deposit may be held for a later date or will be refunded depending on the circumstances and the clients preference.
These terms may change at any time at my own discretion. The client will only be held to any terms they themselves have agreed upon at the time of submission.
